A quick note about my top 100 free iPhone app ranking methodology:
- I calculate the weekly rankings by recording daily rankings from the iOS app store every day between 1-3pm (PT), assigning a value from 100 to 1 (100 for the 1st app, 1 for the 100th app), and then adding up all the values for the week. The app with the highest value is the #1 app for the week. This is my own data.
- This ‘week’ is an extended time frame Jan 1 – Jan 9, so total possible score is 900.
